I just installed some used injectors i was told were dd 2s but when i had it dyno`d the # were lower than before Is it possible they are partially plugged?<br>my numbers last year w/ edge comp and 275s were 343 hp &amp; 850 torque<br>i dyno`d today got 316 hp w/664 torque ....what happened? i should have got much better readings than that ... i just don`t know..... I believe the guy i bought them from , but he may have sent the wrong set

Johnh...#1. Your'e first mistake was to go to Gillette diesel for your dyno run..#2. I posted extensively regarding the variables that can be done to a Mustang dyno with a flick of a switch and make it read Whatever, Gillette is a self serving enterprise in Utah, and others have experienced the same thing you have there. #3. Gillette does not believe in anything but 275RV injectors, and tries to prove to customers this fact by &quot;tweaking&quot; the dyno results. #4. Brett &amp; Taylor of EDGE PRODUCTS, have nothing to gain, therefore, &quot;tweaking&quot; any results is not in their best interest. The first set of Dyno results were taken at Edge's Dyno day last year right? I would strongly urge you to contact Brett or Taylor to see if they would accomodate you to re-dyno at their place with your new set-up. If this is not possible because of their business scheduals, I would make an appointment with Phanton Motor Sports, approx. 8800 south State Street in SLC for a run on their Dyno-Jet. I will bet you lunch, either location, will prove ( if nothing has changed as you stated except injectors) You will show a TRUE higher HP rating.<br><br>If the results are the same or close to, you may have a problem with the injectors, however, I doubt it.<br><br>Steve<br><br>P.S. I tend to believe John got sent a set of stock injectors instaed of DD2s. Smoke and boost are down from his 275s. Even though it's hard to find many things positive about performance products from Gillette, they could be right on this one.

 

I solved my problem: i bought a set of new stage 2 bosch from a local supplier, installed same this morning!!! WOW!!! ;D ;D ;Dwhat a difference! I do believe the other ones were not dd 2s<br>( unless there was something wrong with them) as soon as my retirement check comes i`llbe going to edge for a dyno run ;D
