ultra low sulfur diesel ???

is this stuff thicker has any one noticed lower FP when running this or do I have a problem. before the lowest fp I would see was 8psi with the comp on 5x5 now since i filled up with this I can hit 5psi with the comp off. the pressure drop was with in 25 miles of fill up is it possiable that it cleaned some junk loose in my tank and clogged the in line filter before the fass not the nice dull filter set up the little in line that comes with the 95gph fass just a thought. now that I am thinking about it am i the only one running the in line filter.

Any chance you have an isolator on your fuel pressure guage? I'm still blaming ULSD on killing my isolator but that's another story that's probably not true but... I removed the isolator, used a needle valve in it's place, got all the air out of the lines and my pressure is back to normal 16 idle and ~9 WOT. Only mod is an edge ez.

Good luck.

yes I have a isolator but It is still good I changed both filters and all is well but I changed the inline filter first and that didn't help then i changed the main filter and that solved the problem witch I thought was odd because i had changed it less then 1000 miles ago well live and learn i guess the filter and gauge both did there jobs.

From the complaints that over the road truckers are making on their websites it sounds like ULSD is much like biodiesel in it's solvent properties. Busts deposits loose and can clog filters. From what I've read the problem decreases after the second tank.
