Which turbo seems to be the best bottom turbo for about 550hp the ht3b or the b-2. And as for as size goes is the htb2 turbo similar in size to the hx-40 and could they easily be switched in an already existing twin turbo setup with ease.

 

I too thought about the HTB2...I actually have a HTB2-64 so I called up High-Tech Turbo and they said that they are comming out with a twin turbo set up in the spring using that turbo as the smaller one. Paul said it should work great with something like an HTB3. I am seriously thinking about making up my own twin set up but will wait a few more months before I do it!

an HTB2 can't be switched with an HX40... different exhaust housing configuration.

the HTB2, the B1 variants, and BD's "Super B" are all Schwitzer S300 variants... different turbo than the Holsets
