How dark was the parking lot when you bought the truck? You must have got one heck of a deal then on the truck??? So how far are you from putting up some big HP numbers and smoking out all of us 24'vers dudes?

Me too...if you blow the exhaust far enough, it doesn't go directly behind you until about 85mph+

Dont most twin kit use the exhaust pipe that connects the two turbos as a support? All of the twin kits that I have seen in person (3 of them) do not have any supports.

BD's kit has a bracket that bolts to the block to support the bottom turbo. Many folks say to get an aftermarket exhaust manifold like an ATS, HTT, or a BD to hold the extra weight of the 2nd turbo.

Mine has a bracket bolted to the bottom turbo that bolts to the block. Having had to lift the bottom turbo I would not think of having a set of twins without a lower turbo support.

Mine has a bracket I made, too!!

That's a lot of weight to be holding up, and twisting on the manifold/housing!! However, I did run about 4K miles with my BD Twins an no support bracket!

Oooh, yikes! Why didn't you use the bracket that comes with the BD kit? Did you pull them off after 4k miles or did you crack the exhaust manifold after 4K?

Because it was 2 in the morning when I hung it, and the bracket was cut off!!!

No Problems in 4K miles AT ALL!! No Boots, No leaks, Nothing! Took them off to put on the bigger set...4K miles later, I'm back to a single charger (that I already blew up)

I really liked the BD Twins, but they weren't big enough for a 12v at 450+. ~400 was PERFECT ~300 Valet when Towing was awesme too, btw
