I got to thinkin...... turn up the turbo...... kinda like how ya have to turn up the volume on the radio if you want to hear it over the rattle...... maybe that means taking the silencer ring out of it so its louder????? just a thought......

The wastegate is adjustable. On a 24 valve, the adjustment is staked, but you can drill out the staking, give it a couple turns, and restake it. Many 98-99 24 valves only had 16-18 psi boost. You can go to 21 before it starts defueling.
