uhhhhh????

replace turbo? increase fuel, which increases boost? Close wastgate actuator?

Maybe I'm wrong here, but I didnt think there was a way to "turn up a turbo"

Its possible that I missed something or am just confused, but something doesnt sound right about that.

Maybe he was talking about messing with the wastegate to get more boost?

You cant turn up a turbo. It is not like fuel. But you could get one to make more boost pressure by tuning or disabling the wastegate. But I don't think you could "turn it up" any.

he could buy a trubo master and manual change whats psi of boost the wastegate would see before opening. but would do no good without any added fuel. more psi don't equal more power

Wow 13 they just keep getting younger and younger every day, hey iker42 if your dads truck is a 98.5 it is a 24valve if it is a 98.4 it is a 12valve if it is a 12v than he can turn up the fuel real easy but not the turbo but it will make the turbo spin faster by adjusting the wastegate.
