Question turnbuckle

can anyone tell me whay size turnbuckle to use for 98.5 24v

If i remember a 6 inch buckle will work.

why do you need a turnbuckle on a 98.5 just use a boost fitting

Bob,
I think you are right, the hard line on the wastegate started about 2001 didn't it? A boost fooler should work fine K-80. Look on the bottom of the compressor side of your turbo, there should be a rubber hose coming from a brass elbow to your wastegate. That elbow would need to be replaced with a more restrictive elbow sold by many vendors. This restrictive elbow would require more air pressure to open the wastegate, therefore allowing you to build more boost.

Sorry wasn't thinking this morning, you only need a buckle for a 01 or newer Hy equiped autos.

I ordered ez box & gauges from wildcat he said i would need to install a turnbuckle with an auto trans. Maybe he was mistaken .
