Turbo help for a 2002

I am getting ready to upgrade my turbo and am starting to get lost, so I figure why not get more lost and ask for others opinions! I would like to hear from people who have had similar experience with similar trucks if you are out there!

For the truck in the sig, I have addressed the important known weak points (I think) in order to start making more HP. My goals are for a reliable 350-400RWHP, keeping in mind I tow a fairly heavy trailer (11,000 lbs) on some decent grades.

In looking for different turbos, I don't know enough about the different models to make a good decision, and talking to a couple shops in the area, I don't know I am not getting pushed simply towards what they stock or sell rather than what is best for me. (One shop even told me the HY35 would be fine up to 500HP!)

Does anyone have experience with the Edge BB Turbo? As I understand, since they actually designed it and it is a scratch build item, the cost is higher, but it seems like it has its benefits.

What about the Aurora MST? Any good? I have also looked at the HTB2 and Super B, but again don't know enough to make an educated decision about them.

Cost is always a factor, but I would rather spend more on the right item than less for something that isn't quality or just a hodge podge of parts. I just don't know in some cases (Edge, ATS) if I am paying for name recognition (like Banks) or for the right part for my application.

Thanks in advance for you shared experiences.

an hx35/40 hybrid will be a very good choice for you, search for the dodgezilla 35/40, its strong, reliable, supplies, but at 400hp its at its upper limit, if you plan on going over 400 then you wanna look into a phat shaft 62, or maybe even 64 from Industrial Injection.

add a set of 100hp injectors to your EZ and a 35/40 hybrid and you will have about 375hp...ditch the EZ and go for a smarty tuner and you will have about the same peak power, but the smarty will make more down low, where you need it for towing

MST has been coming soon for a while now so dunno how its working out. Super B, Phatshaft, and HTB2 are all s300g based turbos if that helps simplify things.

Thanks everyone for your input. Anything you can tell me about this subject helps me to understand this whole turbo thing.

What about the Edge turbo? Is it overpriced for what it is, or worth the money for this kind of an application?

I haven't heard much feedback on the edge turbos but I've heard lots of happy people with htb2's and phatshafts. Call Doug- he'll get you straight:
