turbo boost

With what I have in my sig I was wondering what I can do to produce a bit more boost. I know my chip doesnt have boost fooler and I've kicked my boost code a few times if i get on it hard at certain times but its rare that it kicks. What can I do with the waste gate? Anyway to possibly get my turbo to spool quicker? I believe i have the HY35

You could port your exhaust manifolf to aid spool up. But you have the quickest spooling turbo short of a ball bearing unit. If you ever get a bigger turbo, you're gonna have to relearn how to drive it all over again.

You can crimp the boost signal line, you can get a j-hook or a turnbuckle that will hold the wastegate arm from moving, allowing you to make more boost.

Having run a van Aaken for several years on my truck and 80k miles, I know it has boost fooling. I pulled out the manual on it to make sure. Your problem would seem to be with the wastegate. I have a 6-speed so it was simple. I pulled off the hose and capped the port. The most boost I could pull with the van Aaken only, was around 24. This is with an HX-35, tho'. You should be close, I would think. Your setup would require a j-hook arrangement to keep the wastegate from opening too soon

I've pulled 26lb of boost before setting off code. But i tried the smoker switch on my rig that requires boost fooling to work an it never worked i assumed it didnt have it cause i throw a code. Im trying to see how to wire a switch in to get level 3 which i believe has the boost fooler.

You also have more fuel. He's running a 65 hp box. You've got two 120+hp boxes stacked. I'd hope you would make more boost.

With no switch installed, you are on level 3. The switch turns it off w/boost fooling, or with the addition of a 2-3k ohm resistor, you will have 1/2 power.

Boost fooling works in all modes.
