TST PowerMax with remote

Hi All,
I am getting ready to install one of these jewels in FMF MX's(Bart) truck this weekend and I wanted to know where some of you put the box. And we did get the remote so it will need a spot also. I thought about just throwing it up in the dash but I dont think Bart would go for that. Pictures would be good too..

Thanks
Rick

Re:TST PowerMax with remote

Rick, I have a cup smoothie and I drilled a hole in it to run the remote lead into it, then I velcro'd the remote into that small compartment right beside the drivers seat. I ran the lead under the carpet and up to the front of the truck where I plugged it into the main unit donw by the shifter.

Before that I had it mounted on the dash bezel on the right of the steering wheel just below the factory gauge cluster.

I like it in the smoothie cuz I can cover it up with my garage remote and its easy to reach to crank up for the lil rice boom box cars that need a puff of diesel to lube up their subwoofers.

I mounted the box to the side of the shifter box. Then I ran the remote to the dash and velcrowed it. Easy to
control on the fly. ;D

If you have the remote I would mount the box under the dash out of site.

I'd tell you where mine is but then I'd have to kill ya.

DB

Re:TST PowerMax with remote

Mine's under the dash someplace ;D and the remote is run up the steering column, comes out of the dash under the column and goes to where I velcroed it on the dash just below the gauge cluster. You can't see it from the drivers side outside because it right behind the gear shift. I'd post a pic but it's raining and I don't want to go outside right now. :

Chris
