Well, i just did my Regular cab long box and I had 1800 just in materials... Then I worked a whole week building a retainer wall For the guys shop I was using... So, for a nice paint job, I would say 4-5k..

DNRCustoms, can you give me a list of the $1,800 in materials? I'm getting ready to paint my truck and don't come up with figures anywhere near that range in materials. Unless you are counting the compressor, gun, sanders and what not. I'm thinking I am going to spend around $400 for a gallon of base coat and clear coat. Hope I'm not missing something???

mine ran about 3800 which seemed a little high but there was quite a bit of body work to do on mine if i would have to do it again i would have done it myself i think, especially with all of th eproblems i am having afterwards.

a place in carollton ky did it called auto collision specialist, i dont really reccomend them due to all the problems i have had with my truck afterwards, but their bodywork is really nice the truck doesnt have a dent one in it, you can see some swirlmarks in the paint when it is really clean, but i am going to try and figure out how to get them out.
