I had to remove the heat exchanger for the twins. The stock cooler I changed out to a 8.5x11 B&M super cooler (in the same location) and I also added a 12x12 B&M super cooler with a 12" spal fan under the box. The nice thing about these coolers ( made and sold under the "Long" name) is they have LPD (low pressure drop) so when the oil is cold it bypasses 90% of the cooler. Plumbed it all up with SS braided teflon and it looks and works slick.

If I was to replace the primary cooler, would I want the Low Pressure Drop version? I am looking at the 11"x7.5"x 3/4", or the 11"x7.5"x1.5"
Will I notice a decrease in temps?
Thanks.

I used the 1.5" thick ones for both. I really cant say if you will notice a big difference but I noticed a little with just the one upfront (maybe 5-10 degrees) The plate style cooler that B&M sells is made by Long (actually both my coolers were stamped "Long" ) the only thing that said B&M was the box? These all have the LPD design and are a very well built product. Make sure you get the one with the 1/2" inlet and outlets because you dont want to restrict the flow. Sorry no pics yet but hope to update the gallery soon.
