tranny temp sensor
tranny temp sensor
ive had a tranny temp gauge on my truck for nearly 2 years, but my NV5600 hardly ever gets hot enough to register anything on a 100-220* gauge. it will go to 120* when running on the highway for long distances at high speeds, and when towing at highway speeds it takes awhile but will reach 150*.
i have seen other guys that are getting 150-190* on manual tranny's within a few miles of driving, some are using the FAST coolers like myself also.
could i not be getting the proper ground or resistance to get a true reading...or maybe have the wrong temp sensor in there?
