Tranny temp or Pyro gauge

I am planning on getting either a tranny temp or a pyro gauge to go along with my boost and fp gauges.
I do alot of towing ( approx 5000lbs ) with gauge would better suit my need?

You need a option for BOTH.
If you tow a lot your going want a tranny temp gauge. If you go ANY kind of mods you are going to want a pyro. Pyro is nice to have for cool down temps anyway.

Get both.

Another vote for both - if the truck has an automatic. If you only want 3 gauges, make it fuel pressure, trans temp, and pyrometer.

No contest......regardless of what you use your CTD for or how it is bombed, the pyro gauge is the most important gauge you will put in your truck. While a tranny temp gauge will be important for those who tow heavy (I don't count 5000 lbs as heavy), if I were to choose between the two gauges, the pyro is the obvious choice.......

I think most people would say both if it was an option. If you can't get both at this time get a pyro. A fried tranny is better than a fried engine.
