Hello,
I was getting some pretty bad TC shudder in OD. So i checked the fluid and it was down 3/4 quart. I added atf4 and then drove it and seemed to be much better. I am planning on a full Goerend trans but probably not till late summer or early fall. I want to put a shift kit in for now to firm up the shifts.
Do you guys have any suggestions on which ones to get(fairly cheap)? I am going to change the fluid and want to put it in at the same time. Will the shift kit still be needed when I get the new tranny? Can it be used with new tranny? Any help is appreciated.

 

call dunrite converters they have a kit for 125.oo you install your self

 

Call up dave at Goerends and have him ship you one of his VB's and install that for now. That way, when you go to install the full tranny, you've already got the VB and it won't cost as much.
