I had to replace my TC and reading this site, a lot of people Like Dave Goerend's Torque Converters. I would suggest looking into his.

I was going to go that route, but I needed to get mine fixed quick since my truck is my daily driver and I was having issues and did not want to mess up anything else. A very reputable trans shop in my area recommeded West Cost Converters - Tow Warrior. He gave me West Costs Converters phone number and I talked to the owner/builder about their TCs and options and I got the tow warrior wiht extra low stall. He guarentees the TC up to 1,000 ft./lbs of torque and said if I ever have any issues to just call him. It was $1k and delivered to the trany shop in 2 days since they are one city over. I have been very happy with it since. I even got 1mpg better fuel economy - not enought to pay for itself, but it is nice to get something back.

My truck is a daily driver and I tow a 10k toy hauler about once a month. It is great having the upgraded TC.

1K is a good deal for a converter!! I have a Precision Billet triple but most will say Goerend, Suncoast, or DTT.
