Torque Converter Question

I want to replace the torque converter in my truck before it comes apart.
I am looking to see what everyone else has done.
I don't see me raising the HP and TQ ratings much on the Cummins.
Maybe 100 hp and 200 tq max.
I will be pulling maybe 6,000 to 8,000 at times.
I have looked into Dunrite already but there are so many other shops out there that I wanted to get others opinions on this before I take the plunge.
I have searched the board and have found some info but not much.
Thanks for the help.
Ken

I think Gorearend has the best quality I've read. I've also read the owner (dave I think) is an awesome guy to ask questions. Call and tell him what you're doing and what you what to achieve and he will help you.

Some of the other guys have actually dealt with him so they can tell you more.

Dave Goerend is a super guy to work with, and his parts are second to none. He is also the only manufacturer I know of who offers a lifetime warranty on his converters. Also worth noting, all of Dave's stators are billet CNC machined, not milled stock parts, so they are much stronger and can custom fit the converter to your truck stall speed wise.

I'd also look into DTT because I am really happy with their stuff. I'd suggest that you do at least a valve body or shift kit with your new TC.

Dunrite offers a Lifetime warranty on their triple disc.

Thanks for the help.
I now have more places to work with.
I plan on doing a valve body at the same time.
