1995 had the 47RH, 2001 has the 47RE,
so I'm going to guess no.

I would guess that it would.....but, there have been some upgrades to the convertors over the years. If it is indeed a 95 convertor, I would probably pass on it anyways.

Sure will, the realy question is, why would you want to? Unless your on a really low budget and can't afford an aftermarket one. If your going to keep the truck your I would give Dave a call and see how much he'll charge to cut it open and rebuilt it.

I'd say it would work. There is basically no difference between a 47RH and 47RE besides the names and more electronics. I agree with the others, why bother with a stocker if the trans is going to be out anyway.

Yep. They will interchange no problem . When I bought my single disc from Dave Goerend, a buddy with an 01 bought one too. I told him to make sure Dave marked which one was which, but he said there was no difference, so you are good to go.
