Torque Converter Not Locking

The other morning I took off in my truck and it seemed kinda different. After driving it for awhile I realized my TC isn't locking. So I hooked it up to a Modis to check the codes and their weren't any related to the transmission. It basically happened overnight which confuses me. I ran a wire to it to see if its getting signal and it does seem to. I already got the new solenoid assembly and I tested the ohms of the new solenoid and it was 32 ohms. I also used the wire I used for a test wire to test the ohms of the old one and it read 62 ohms which seems to be in the range for normal. I don't think it is electrical which I hope it is since that would be cheaper then a converter but I dont see how the converter could simply go out overnight. I even wired up a lockup switch to see if it would engage it but it didn't work. I haven't tested to see if the 5 volt reference if there but I would think it wouldn't shift if it wasn't there. I have not checked any fuses but I will go get my Power Probe to go test them soon. Anyone have any ideas of what I could maybe try?

Hate to say it, but when I lost TC Lockup on Brownie, it did it all at once on the way into work. Normal one second, and when it died, just poof, no lockup.

If you didn't have voltage, you also would not have OD.......

I am unsure what I wanna do with my transmission since it may need a TQ, I don't wanna get something real good since the rest of the tranny is stock and I don't plan to do alot with it, basically its a daily driver. I also have a problem with it when it goes it 3rd, it just kinda drops into it, idk if that is something that would get worse. It was rebuilt several years ago. I kinda thought if i could find a used tranny, just have my friend rebuild it with some better parts...

I ended up in the same mess, got a local Trans shop to sell me a slightly upgraded ( lower stall ) stock type converter for 275 ish.... Sold her before I ever got a built trans because I found my 5 speed truck shortly thereafter.

Unless your money is VERY tight, I would say the same.

Well it kinda seems like its locking again, I am just gonna try and find a core and have it rebuilt with some better parts then swap it out later on since my valve body could be messed up and I dont see why fix something with other problems, Also I have so many front end noises I need to figure out and take care of them...
