With all due respect, why do you want to 'upgrade' the top turbo? A 35 is just fine as a top turbo for power levels right up to ludicrous, despite what the 'experts' will tell you... What are all your pressures? IE.... Primary turbo (bottom) compressor discharge pressure at various total boost pressures? What are the drive pressures for the primary and secondary turbos at various boost levels and RPMS? What housings are you running??

I had to use a 98 model hx35 for the top turbo because of the wastgate placement and it looks like someone drove around without the air filter sealed because it has pretty good size chips gone from the compressor blades and it isn't the fastest spooling thing either even with a 12cm housing some I was going to get a bigger housig but need a turbo rebuild including a compressor wheel so I figured now would be as good a time to upgrade as any and I wanted to keep the internal wastegate
