Too much for 5 speed?

What would you guys say the range of the non modified 5 speed manual tranny is? Can you take them up to 400-500 horse with no upgrades?

I think they can go pretty high but i would suggest the 1 3/8" Input shaft or else you'll just snap it off if you get on it very much.

over 400 is trouble, i snapped a input at 411 and i all ready had a fully splined main shaft.

Id say anything over 330 will have u slippin a clutch QUICK!

as far as snappin shafts goes.... Gunracer is much more experienced than I am in that high horsepower agenda.. Im still green...
