Tonneau Cover Recommendation
I have a 2001 with long box. I don't need anything complex. Just basic that locks. Any recommendations or brands to avoid?

I just purchased a truck for winter transportation which came with a fiberglass toneau cover and I sure would not recommend it. Up here in Canada its good protection for the box from the winter snow but its a pain in the but if you want to carry much as it only opens up about 30 degrees. I had another truck which had a roll up cover ( something like a window shade) and it was a lot better. When not using the box you simply pulled it back to the tailgate and it was lockable too. When you pick up a load it would roll up to the front with the help of a spring loaded drum. Hope this helps you and if I explained that right....

I know exactly what you're talking about…i've seen them. I just want something that is relatively inexpensive, not a tarp. Walked into CP truck parts and he said there's nothing less than $600.
