That would be 14.75 inches wide. Dived the number by 25.4, this will give you an approximate tread width.

Yeah, the 375 is 375mm, which is a widea$$ tire. I'm almost positive they wouldn't even be able to be mounted on the truck let alone able to turn. That's 100+ mm wider than stock (about 4" wider) so would stick in to the frame side of the truck an extra 2". That means you would need a rim with 1.5-2" of offset to push them out. I think 315s on an H2 rim or 305s on a 3rd gen rim are about the biggest you can run without rubbing. Like I said, biga$$ tire....

Yeah, you would be lookin at some serious wheel spacers to make em work, my 325's rub, I can't imagine a 375. Unless you find a rim with very little backspacing (since they prolly won't mount up too well on a stock rim, if at all)

Put the spacers on with those tires. Then hang some fuzzy dice on the rearview mirror. Then put a bunch of chrome all over the truck. Then drive real slow. Sweeeeeeet!

That just wouldn't sound right with a Diesel, let's leave that to the half tons

we run 35x12.50r17s on our 96 4x4 and we have a 4x4ranchhand front bumper and a 2inch leveling kit and even on aftermarket rims with slightly better backspacing than stock rims we still rub frame and the back of the fenders where it comes down and meets the door well not really the fender just the innerfender or whatever the plastics are called thinking about going with a 3inch kit since we already put in the add a leaf in the rear

Im running 35x12.50x17 on 3rd gen wheels with level kit an i only rub on the upper link arm at full lock. 375 is the height of the tire not the width. LT375-55r -16 is equal too a 33x15.5x16

Never mind I was wrong 375 is the width my bad. You'll need a 12in rim to mount it on. No matter the back spacing you will need to take a sawzall to your fender. The further the tire is pushed out the more scrub radius you'll have allowing the tire to be pushed further in to body panels

I think you're wrong about the height. 375 is the width, 55 is the aspect ratio; essentially the height relationship (rim to tread, or side wall height) to the width. The total tire height is the height indicated by the aspect ratio X's 2 plus the wheel diameter. For instance, a 195/70/14 and a 195/70/16 will have he same tread width, and tread to rim (sidewall) height, but the 16 will be a larger overall diameter. There are other metric and military sizing systems that add confusion, as well as the 33/12.5/15 system which is truly height/width/rim diameter. Hope this shed some light..
