Looks good but you might want to check with a local tire store to see how good they are and their price on them.

 

the way the ad reads, it is 100 for 1 tire, and then 55 bucks to ship it ??


sounds like a bit of a scam to me.

A friend of mine just bought 6 tires for his dually, and the total bill was 615 bucks.

 

i'm not looking at buying the tire in the add. I know the add is for only 1 tire what i wanted was opinions on the style of the tire itself what you guys think about it

 

When I bought my Jeep a couple years ago I had those tires on it. They were ok, didn't keep them on for very long to see how they wore or lasted, but they seemed to ride and handle decent from what I remember!!

Google a comparison...I read that it doesn't wear well due to a soft compound and though the compund is soft it doesn't do icy conditions well nor does it do mud very well after about 20k...just what I read....

Check out the tires in my photo's. $525 for all of them mounted, and balanced. They do well in mud, dirt, grass, etc, and i really like them so far. Supposedly from what i have heard, i can expect around 40k out of them. They are mastercraft courser C/T's in 285's. You may not be interested, but they are good tires for the $, and just thought I would let you know. Here is a link to them on mastercrafts site.

thanks i have looked at mastercraft tires but in the courser M/T's but yeah i like that coumpany anmd they have the 315's i'll have to find a place that sels them so i can price out a set of C/T's and M/T's in 315 75 16

 

we run those tires on some of our pickups at work they seem to be pretty good all around when the tread is new, but after they get 25000 miles they are summer use only

More like a budget broke college kid... anyways, I bought some Liberator all terrains, 8 ply from wally world back in April, 20K miles on them, and not a problem. they are decent in the sand, ok in the mud, and really have not given me any trouble. I had BFG's before that... couldnt find them in a 285 here in ldo anywhere.... I paid in total for the libbys about 420 dollars, and that was mounted and balanced. Coarse i took tires elsewhere to get mounted.. but still.. not too bad....

sorry just the wild countrys

for comparison sake I have bfg at's on one of my rigs and the dueller revo's on the other and the revo absolutely sets the bar for snow and road manners, the bfg's wear like iron, and the wild countrys are just pretty decent all around

 

I'd say 50% of all the trucks in the northwest run those tires. They wear ok if you take care of them (rotate, monitor pressures), probably get 30K out of 'em. They do fine in mud if you keep them cleaned out, they're a good all around utility tire. They're made by Cooper or Avon, cant remember which.

Thats a good price compared to what Les Schwab charges.
