Tips for torque converter change

I am going to swap out my 900/400 goerends converter for a 15 blade stock stall. I have pulled the whole tranny before when I did the valve body. I was hoping to just put the transmission/tranfer case on the jack and slide everything back. If anyone has any pointers let me know.

So I got the new converter on. Does anyone know if you use the stock converter bolts or the ones that came with goerends tc.

Are the bolts different sizes, lengths or made of different material? If the bolts are same and the old bolts are not stretched, stripped or cross treated it probably does not matter which one you use. As a rule if all things are equal, I use the new stuff and the old stuff becomes my back up supplies.

If it is that much of a concern for you, I would call Goerends up and ask them.
