oh ya, i finally got the timing tools and did the timing on my truck so i could put my lasercuts in , of course it only took me from 6 in the afternoon to 6 the next morning to get the timing right , no seriously i stayed up all night trying to get the timing set right , don't ask how i could possibly take that long, but it did, but now i know how to do it so i shall try to get some vids because, hoooo weee that truck runs like a bat outa hell, at wot in valet mode egts hold at 1200 and the truck is moven like a frieght train, it sweet, with full fuel on it smoke like a beast but pulls hard, egts crawl to 1500 fairly quick but i need to adjust the wastegate so i can push 55 psi to help cool things down some more, anyways just thought id share. dyno numbers in about a week

What kind of turbo do you have? That sounds like a lot of boost for a stocker. What is your timing set to?

 

oh no... thats no stock turbo, its the 71 sereies 64/14 turbo, and i set my timing to 16.5 for now, but will play around with the setting later to see what fits best.
