time for a turbo

Hey fellas. Hope xmas treated y'all well. Well I'm looking for a turbo...or turbos. With what I'm running in my sig...minus head studs and dual disc... what would be a good single or twin setup. Is there anything that would work well with my stock hx35 for a compound setup? I recently dynoed it at 425hp and 1200tq. I think with a single I can go over 500hp. But I want more

I am running diesel power source compounds and love em!
I have the 62 65 12 over a s475. Picked up .6 in the quarter mile and dropped egt's from 1680 with just the 62, down to 1400 Max with the compounds. Fyi that was first night out with em and they weren't even dialed in yet.
They scream at 62 lbs boost.

On a single note, my room mate is running a dps 64 65 12 and pushes 55 lbs to keep up with his hot rod pump, juice with attitude and 220 sticks. Said temps where high, but he put down 520 hp with it.

Had an idea. My buddy has a he351 that's totally rebuilt and ported out. Worked good on his 12 valve. What if I run that he351 over a s475? I'm thinking it would be a pretty descent setup. Or my other buddy wants me to throw a phat shaft as a single

The HE351 and the S475/1.32 is a good choice, just hog out the internal wastegate just so you can get some exhaust flow. I prefer external gates, they flow better than an internal.

You could also run a S475/1.1 83 or 88, might cause egt's to increase. Ran both in twins. A k31 or GT4202 works nice, same goes for the BTH-3B.

For 500rwhp, you could get by with a single GT3788R or a S364/71 T-3, if you don't tow.

Hey here's one I just remembered... Back in the spring right after I put my compounds in (or I would've been looking into this) I read about a guy putting a he451 vgt in his truck. I think fleece performance provided the set up. I can't remember if it was on a 2nd or 3rd gen but thought it was awesome cause the exhaust housing could vary from 9 cm to 26 cm. Essentially gave him flow spool and use of compounds, in a single turbo. Just a thought.
