I've seen this to. I'm kind of hesitant to spend my money on a crappy part. I've installed them on gassers before with great success. I'm not to sure bout a diesel though.

Was summit listing one for a Cummins? You won"t find a throttle body on these engines to put a spacer on.

That must be for a 5.9 gas V8. It's not for a diesel.

Ah...there I see the problem, these aren't for our Cummins TD's... These are for the "Cummings diesel 4-valve."

In sum...I feel dumb...thanks all

Saw the Cummins diesel throttle spacer in the Summit catalogue. E-mailed them a while back and asked.

It installs between the air horn and the heat grid block. It's got the little corkscrew cut into the aluminum, to "swirl" the air. That's what it does: swirl boosted air. Manufacturer claims 5 psi more boost, 2-4 more mpg, 20-30 more HP. No torque figures.

Swear-to-gosh.

That and a TAG, and I'll break a thousand horsepower.

Darn, YOU TOO!?

I thought the group of 1,000HP TAG, TB spacers, Magnetic fuel lines, and Aeroturbine muffler users were sworn to secrecy?!

Now everybody is going to be catching up to me on the hills. I put some Banks stickers on to fool 'em, but now they know.

IS NOTHING SACRED?!

ok lets see i use the tag first to straighten the air flow then the throttle body spacer to swirl it again... im so confused. the primary job for these phenolic(sp) spaces on the gasers is th insulate the throttle body it also provides a space to increase runner length sometimes giving a little more low end. I would think you would be better off with insulating tape and taping everything from the air intake to the manifold.

I just want someone to set-up and order the dang thing. I would but I still have the low tech 12V, and I recon it doesn't need to have it's air wiped around.
