Thoughts on 22psi?

I have seen in a few places that I can't seem to find now that the VP doesn't like pressure that high coming from the fuel pump. My FASS now seems to be putting out that high even though it didn't when I first installed it. It used to be 15psi all the time, and now it is 22psi all the time. I have no idea why it has crept up like that. However, my question is will 22psi hurt the VP? I am a little worried because it seems my truck is a little slow these days. I may just be getting used to the smarty, but it seems to be a bit sluggish. Any thoughts?

22psi is fine. I ran 20-21psi for a year with no issues and I'm still on my stock (knock on wood) injection pump with 105k miles on it.

I had a thread on this elsewhere, turns out that more fuel pressure is not bad, it does change the calibration on the pump, with 27 psi idle and 18 wot compared to 5 I notice more top end, and it is definate because the truck never smokes on top and now it does.

One thing to remember about this is that Tyler has always been VERY gentle with his baby.

Might want to check your gauge.....pressure should not increase that much just randomly.....unless the return on the FASS has a restriction for some reason.....

I'd say too much is a better option that too little when it comes to FP and almost everything else....
