thinking of dumping the catcher

Only thing about losing the catcher is the rate limiter. Without the rate limiter eliminated the truck won't run through the rpms as fast.

I think you're right on target here.

In my case, bottom end smoke was the least of my issues.

I know Hohn, but without the Catcher my truck does not smoke and spoolup is still pretty decent with my old Van Aaken, I hate to say it but it spools better than my SPS62 did.
