They think they know something, huh?
I was having problems blowing fuses to my starter, and tried to get some advice on here. Someone said something about contacts and blah blah blah.
I couldn't imagine what contacts inside the starter had to do with anything. Well slowly my starter only wanted to work intermitently, and it was pretty embarrassing. So I took the advice and went to www.fostertruck.com . I bought the contacts and the plunger. After about an hours worth of work, I realized how great it is to have a forum where many minds can spill forth the knowledge I needed to get my pick up running good again. The original contacts were just about gone!! Thanks for the advice. I'm out a whole just a few pennies over $40, as aposed to a whole new starter, labor, and trouble shooting costs. Thanks

All kinds of great advise on this site! What I have gained, no muffler, no silencer ring, no stock air cleaner, chipped computer....
Lots of stuff on here and people who have most likely already seen or done what your attempting or having problems with. That saving money thing feels good to!!
