Testing VP44???

Are we able to test if our VP 44's are operating in normal parameters while it's still on the truck or do we have to remove it from the truck?

cummins does have a tool that plugs into the vp44 harness to take control from the ecm.

Its a very simple procedure

Will the test tool read wonky because I'm running a HRVP44 and where can a guy go to do this testing Bob??? Thanks...

that tool costs $1000.00

I bought the tool for 250.00 used and I sold it to Rip

Is there a cummins service center in your area?

About 40 miles to the cummins service center. My girl friend works at the dealer so I get to use the one they have for free.

So should I just go to the Dodge dealer Bob? Will the test tool work on a HRVP44???
