Test Port on Filter Canister

I haven't got my gauges yet ( I know, I know, I'm working on it )

I want to test my fuel pressure this weekend with a temporary setup. What do I need to use the test port on top of the filter canister on my '99??? I asked around at a few places today. Nobody seemed to know what I was talking about

What type of thread is that??? What fitting do I need? NAPA had no idea.

tool,
Check out RATTLINRAM's photo gallery. He has a '99 and shows a pic of his fuel pressure setup

Not sure what size the fittings are, but I bet he would tell ya. (I would guess 1/8" NPT)

Thanks. I'll fire him a P.M. I'd like to get the parts before everything is closed for the weekend.

98 and 99 test ports on the filter canister are 1/8" NPT......one is pre filter and the other is post filter.

Sweet, I believe the grease gun hose trick will work then, I'll just pick up a pressure gauge, gresegun hose and maybe a nipple with some more hose to reach the windshield.
