I have over the years done the tinfoil around the alternator wire, cleaned up the ground wire and the DTT noise filter. I have rebuilt the trans with DTT parts about 20k ago. I just installed an adrenaline a couple weeks ago and the TC lock up spastic maneuver is back again. I am going to do a filter and fluid change tomorow and install a mystery switch. At least I should be able to force lock up when I am on the highway. While I have the pan off is there any sensor I can / should try to clean? Any suggestions for me.... I have had it with this transmission TC. Aargh.

Check all the grounds again. Both ends!!
I found the cable on the passenger battery-engine end-was real loose on mine.

 

While I was installing the TC switch, I made sure to remove and clean up my ground connections. I now have a mystery switch and a transmission which locks up as per normal. Do other vehicles with a lock up TC suffer the same type of issues with lock up control? I sure have had to fart around a lot over the years with this Chrysler system.
