Tans Temp Gauge ?

Im wanting to put a trans temp gauge in my truck, I have the NV4500 and was wondering were the best place to mout the sender would be?

can you install it into one of the inspection windows? Maybe weld a bung onto it?

that would work fine but in MHO I would mount it on the back (facing rearward) of the pan if possible, not on the bottom, if you tear it off, well you can firgure the rest out.

That's not a true reading of trans temp. It's cooled some before it gets to the pan. The best place is in return line. They sell a kit to replace the line with connection on it for sender
