Good afternoon from Hawaii:
I just bought a 96 2500 with a long bed and looking for a replacement aftermarket tailgate. I don't know what you call it but I'll try to describe it.

The tailgate is often used with a fifth wheel trailer since it is lower in the middle and is made of box tubing so you can see through it. It uses the stock mounting holes and could be made of steel or aluminum. I hope the description is sufficient.

The 2500 is my first diesel so I am looking forward to towing my race car.

Ken thats a pretty easy part to find I think its correct name is a midgate because it is only half way. Most guys with 5ers are gonna respond to this.
