Anyone know exactly what the superchips tuners actually changes on each setting? On the lowest setting, my truck seems to smoke alot. Second setting is really nice, but it seems like my engine has alot more "knocks" and noises, runs great though. I don't see how it could inject more fuel, because I get 1-1 1/2 mpg better .

 

I have asked Superchips a question similar to that by email, and got a response back saying they change timing and amount of fuel, but nothing really specific about what the tuner really does specifically. I suspect they would be tight lipped about this since they have many competitors who would also like to know that info.
