Superchips Flashpaq 3855

Have any of you all had any problems with the Flashpaq for your trucks? I recently bought one and after updating it on Superchips Easy Update program it reads that there is no configuration for my vehicle and it's a 1999 Dodge 2500. I still tried to sync the programmer with the truck and it reads that there is no program for my application and now I'm stuck between a rock and a hardplace. If any of you all have any idea what could be causing this please let me know. Thanks.

I had a SC and although it did add some performance I found it really useless and trashed it. The SC tune can only be loaded onto one vehicle at a time and will record the VIN in the programmer. I'm guessing you may have to return the truck to stock then update the programmer. Is the programmer the exact model for your truck?
I would get rid of it and install a Adrenaline or Edge....you'll be much happier and have gauges. Ohh, first and very important, install a fuel pressure gauge and an aftermarket lift pump. JMO.

I went with the Flashpaq just for a small added power when towing. With the amount of miles I have on the truck I'd rather not push it to hard and end up replacing parts. Thanks for the information. I called Superchips today and they told me to wait 3 more days and they should have a calibration ready for my truck. Never have dealt with them before, but this is a learning experience for me.

Thanks again.

I had the 3805?? and never had any trouble out of it. I wish I hadn't sold it because the code scanner sure would have come in handy a time or 2.

Ok good, at least they're working with you on a fix.

I had the same issue when I got mine from a guy on craigslist... when I tried to program the truck I kept getting an error message... talked with the tech at superchips and he said that dodge re-flashed some of the 99 models at the dealer. When you try to use the flashpaq, it can erase the stock flash... so they have to write a speacial program for the 99 models.. mine only took a day to update.. very good service.. and it gives the truck a modest increase in power
