Question Super B and my setup, help please

I am 99% sure Im gonna go with the Super B ( not super b special because I tow). with my setup now if i put my plate all the way forward I Spike 48 lbs at WOT on the hx 35 with adequate black smoke, and a quick 1300 degree egt reading. I have the plate back to hit 36 lbs wot throttle now, anyway do you guys think Ill see a big power gain??? And Ill finally be retiring the straight 3 inch to go with a straight 4" stack. If I dynoed 300 RWHP what might I be able to achieve with the turbo upgrade???

what is the size of the super B? dont know to much about them.
you will probably need to readjust things once you put the new turbo on, which is why i ask on the size.

They appear to be way smaller than my HTT 62/13 SS. I'm guessing they heat up fast???

what about the wheel size? it might be a little big with a tight auto. you will probably need bigger sticks to spool it also. dont know if you have enough with the 215's and 181's

BD's super B is small a 58 I think much smaller then the 62's most are running! Quick to spool but runs outta steam fast.

Why not

go with a 62/14 for ur application? ull better grow into it with the BOMB's that might be comin up, and it will make a sweet towin charger. IMHO i think its not too big a step over a 35, it will spool up as quick, but with the smaller wheel will run outta power quick as stated...

The hx35 pushing 36+ is just blowing hot air so 36 vs 48 means nothing but more drive pressure

Off the top of my head I believe the hx35 is a 54mm vs 57 on the super b/ htbg/ s300. Like 007 said- it's not a big step, but it should help slow the rise of egts and will support more power. Shot in the dark guess is maybe 350 on a 12v?

with that size it will work great with 215's and 181's but youll grow out of it quick if you decide to go with bigger injectors or dv's

they are a good turbo, with the auto you'll want the 62/12 since you tow. or even the phat shaft 62/12 both are good since they have the smaller wheel youll be able to spool it very well with what you got

the ratings for the 62mm say 450 hp up, think Ill be ok? and I was thinking a # 5 plate to feed it a little better before I step into dv's or inj. HTT says the 57 mm is good for 350-425 hp and the 62 is good for 450-525 hp. But Im guessing those are flywhel ratings? So yall think I have enough to feed the 62 huh? what heppens if I fall short, slower spool?

youll be ok, you will still need to adjust things cause it will not be the same as the 35.
