if i swap it in, I assume i should be doing a vb at the same time?

can i run a lock up switch with it?

Lots of guys runs suncoast trannys and parts. I dont have any personal experience, but they are one of the best. Yes you should put a valvebody in also. The stock one doesnt have high enough pressures to get much benifet from the new converter. Depending on what shape the trans is in due to milage, it might be a good time to freshin up more than just the vb/tc.

 

I have a full suncoast trans built by Jeff Garmon. Best $$ I ever spent on the truck. If you are looking at doing just the converter, at least do the VB at the same time

 

Full suncoast here as well, $4,000 and worth every penny. I love mine!!

 

so far only broke the output shaft but all is good
