Suncoast Trannys TC, VB
Suncoast Trannys TC, VB
I've been reading everything possible trying to figure out what I need to do for my truck (tranny rebuild) TC is slipping. I am stock except for EZ and I have an Auto. I use it to pull our horses with a 20 ft gn steel horse trailer. I have talked with DTT, ATS, Suncoast. All are outstanding but not very close because I'm located in SC. For now I'm leaning toward Suncoast. The only reason I'm slightly hesitant is I'VE NOT HEARD YOU GUYS TALK MUCH ABOUT THEM. Is there a reason for that? Help please I dont have the funds to waste. If I do any more add ones it would be a Exhaust brake 275 injectors and Comp. Please help with some input. THANKS :'(
Re:Suncoast Trannys TC, VB
Most of the tranny builders have installers in other parts of the country to do actual installations.
Give them a call, tell them where you are, they'll hook you up.

I see a DTT in my future...........
Re:Suncoast Trannys TC, VB
ROCKNRAM, we are a Suncoast dealer, they offer an excellent product. Suncoast has been in business a long time, and offers a lifetime warranty to the original owner on their products. We also have BD-Power trannies, and ATS trannies. Give us a call for prices, and details, we'll help you all we can. We're a short trip from South Carolina, just over the mountains into Kentucky !
Re:Suncoast Trannys TC, VB
I'm not positive but I believe Suncoast has been the main torque convertor guys since day one. I know a ton of PSD's use SunCoast convertors over any other... but that may just be the Ford diesel trend... like our own Dodge trends.
