sun coast loc-up torque controller?????

Just wondering if anyone is running a sun coast loc-up torque controller, if so how does it work? And does it work well. Also wondering if it takes the place of pcm control of trans. Running fresh 42/rh with typical erratic shifting 3rd to 4th and od lock up. Have pot instead of tps , and toggle switch to keep od in lock up now, wanting something that works without so much effort. Thanks for any help.

make sure your trans temp sender wires are making good contact. i went the same route as you and wound up with a good holding trans but still went in and out of od so finially jamed some 1/4'' strands of cooper wire in the female connector (2 small female connectors inside the plastic plug) and works good as new

Ad removed what it does is it will lock the converter at a set speed when it is energized and after you slow down below that speed it will release the converter. I used it with an exhaust brake when my brake would come on it would power the converter and it would stay locked down to 30 mph then unlock.
