maybe it has rv275's or some sort of injector (the HO's wake up more to them) and no boost fooler. maybe overboosting and then the truck defuels???? is 21 the max (thats stock wastegate)? or can you get anymore? like a spike?

cycle the key on/off on/off then on. look at the odometer and see if any codes pop up from an overboost condition...or just any codes.

its been some time but i would say my 02 HO had more rattle than my current 01. probably cuz i had a box with timing and the higher compression of the HO.

 

21 is the max it doesnt go any higher. I was thinking of putting a boost elbow on but it wouldnt do me any good because it would defuel because of too much boost. Is my only other choice to get a box that be be used as a boost fooler ?
