Studs on a 2500?

Studs on a 2500?
Just got stuck in 2" on snow in my driveway with 600#'s in the bed and the blade on. Has anyone run studs on a truck this heavy? Just wondering how they would wear with that much weight on them. The set I am looking at is at the TireRack.com they are Winterforce M+S studdable in 245/75/16. They don't offer anything larger studdable.
