I have heard lots of comments on the silencer ring/turbo mod and want to know what difference it will make on a STOCK engine with an Edge 4400 chip.
Should I leave it alone or take it out?
Will it affect the mileage?

 

Does not effect anything, just makes the turbo louder.

 

The only thing removing the ring will do is make turbo more high pitched (whistle)
It will not add/subtract any more power or mpgs.

 

It have a louder whistle like a semi. It doesn't hurt anything if you do take it out.
