Got one. Works great! Get under your truck, reach up and rotate the steering I-shaft while looking at the pitman arm. Your probably moves side to side before it rotates. The DSS eliminates that. I got mine from Rip Rook.

I bgt a DSS at 27,000 miles, to prevent future steering "slop" that others report...due to poor Dodge design.

What amazed me was the improved steering on a fairly new truck! Was not expecting to notice a difference...but I think I did. Great Product!

Now go to this site-www.solidsteel.biz- and get the adjustable track bar and bracket for it.

Get it! It's one of the best upgrades you can do to a '94-'02.

Thumbs up

The DSS should be considered a mandatory upgrade. I was skeptical at first, but not anymore....it certainly works as advertised.

I didn't really notice any difference which I thought would be major when used in conjunction with my lift. That being said it's a clean setup and hopefully will prevent future problems with loose sector shafts.

I think that's because we installed it on fairly new 2002's.
Folks that noticed the biggest difference are those with older trucks.

That being said, I firmly believe it is a great preventative measure on new trucks.

Pardon the ignorance here, but is there any advantage to a 2WD? I've read so much good about this product, and currently have no complaints about the steering on my '01 (24k miles).

Yes, there is a DSS for 2WD Rams.....it will work the same as on a 4WD.
