Starter question

OK, the starter works about 90% of the time, but every so often you turn the key and nothing, but holding the key in the full forward position it engages, like its warming up the contacts? What are your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.

Easy job and worth the time to install them. The starters usually last a very long time.

For the time being, keep a hammer in your truck for when it decides not to start. Tap the starter 2 or 3 times and it should catch for a little while. I had to swap a starter in Feb with purple cold hands, not fun.

I thought that was the problem, I have ordered from Foster Truck before, really good company to deal with, so in the mean time I will carry a hammer and get those contact ordered.
Thanks.
