Star wheel setting
Star wheel setting
OK, I don't know much about this thing. So I need some help. I have a #10 plate installed. Sholud I adjust the star wheel in, back it off some, or set it about in the middle? I didn't move it when i installed the plate. Oh and timing is set at 16 degrees.
CRANK HER ALLLLLLL THE WAY FOWARD!!!!
Thats how mine is. You just basically set it to your liking. It controls the amount of fuel before the turbo spools (reving it in neutral, or taking off real quick)

pretty much can be sumarized as the fine adjust on the smoke control. I personally have mine at 1/2 way at the moment, but im really overfueled, and babying a literally dead clutch...
Ive ran is as loose as can be, and at half way and 3/4, for your particular application i can bet that about 80-90 percent loose will get u a good take off and minimal smoke, if you like smoke tho, let it all loose..

Have you done anything yet to beef up that stock auto tranny ? Be careful, cranking that starwheel may make you need that tranny job pretty soon ! Just my opinion from what I've heard on here. I cranked mine just a little bit ~1/2 turn, playing around ( push top toward the engine ) I could tell some difference. But I know I gotta do something to my tranny b4 I crank up too much fuel.
Personal preference as to how hard you want it to fuel. Its more of an issue on the 215 pump as the spring is stiffer than the front suspension. The AFC spring kit was nice for me to get some finite control.. Personally I have it 7 clicks off of totally loosened.
