stg 3 is a continous spray system that has its own little ECM that doesn't just read boost pressure, but EGT as well.

It's supposed be more of a set-it-and-forget-it setup for the towing guy who doesn't want to worry.

I personally think the Stg 2 with the 220psi upgrade is all a person should ever need.

Stg 3 is very heavy towing guys, imo.

The stage 3 will save a TON of water/meth as it is only sprayed when actually needed. This isn't a great big deal if you have a large tank mounted somewhere but if you are going to use the small tank included with the system you can run low fast. Also I don't like to spray the water unless really necessary so the stage 3 helps in this regards as well.

I have an edge/attitude. Would the stage three readouts be a little reduntant. Can/should I have both, or just run the stage 2.

Stage II is all I ever felt the need for...but I don't tow long distances and I actually like scanning the gauges and throwing switches when needed!

Really depends on how you use it, I guess.
Reports from those that have the stage III all seem to love it.
