Talking Stacks On Finally

Well I got my kit from ebay and first impressions were awesome. Just as advertised. I will have pics up soon. I know alot of you favor mitre cut, but I went with turnouts, and it came out sweet. I did the project by myself, would have been easier with someone else for the alignment process, but it went pretty smooth. Inside cab noise is actually very low, no more than the 4inch out the rear. Deeper tone for sure, I went with 5inch. With the window open its pretty loud through the shift ranges but at 65 very tolerable, just a deep rumble. I slid my frame moune tool box back just enough to clear the stacks when opened, and I was suprised it didn't look too stupid, it actually pleasing to the eye. The cool factor was really this morning on the turnpike when two truckers hailed me on the CB and commented how good they looked and sounded. They asked all kinds of info to pass on to their CTD friends. any questions feel free to shoot em over. Like I said I will put up pics tomorrow.

Stephen

I think stacks may be a little out of my budget right now......but If I can get the hookup at work with some FREE 5" pipe like I did with my current setup then all I need to do is get some chrome pipes!! And I may be able to get those for free from the same place so.... we'll just have to see!!

Sweet!

I think stacks are becoming more popular and popular. They should have been one of my firsts BOMBs.
